Gilson Silveira, a percussionist in Ipoema, a small town in the state of Minas Gerais (Brazil), presents his first DVD with the collaboration of dear and valiant friends, among which Mario Riggio, a reporter and producer, as well as conceiver of the present work, as he already had some previous recordings of Gilson. This DVD was recorded in Italy on three different occasions: a live concert in Perugia, some performances in Laigueglia during the festival called Percfest, and an educational part recorded near Genoa, plus several extra features. Percfest is one of the world's most powerful drum festivals, featuring drum and fitness sessions on the beach, drum and percussion lessons; masterclasses, drum circles were throughout the typical intricate streets in the town of Laigueglia. Over 18,000 drum enthusiasts attended the events, including concerts in the evening and jam sessions during the night. Some of the best Italian and European jazzists played on the stage (Enrico Rava, Dado Moroni, Flavio Boltro, Stefano Bollani), with drummers such as French superstar André Ceccarelli (Dee Dee Bridgewater), Ellade Bandini, Roberto Gatto, Luca Capitani (Steve Vai), Brazilian percussionists Gilson Silveira (Miguel Bosé, Ana Torroja) and Djalma Correa (Peter Gabriel), Swiss snare band "I tamburi di Bellinzona".

Over 18,000 drum enthusiasts attended the events, including concerts in the evening and jam sessions during the night. Some of the best Italian and European jazzists played on the stage, with drummers such as Modern Drummer editor Rick Van Horn, Cuban Ernesttico, Walter Calloni (Battisti, Finardi, Pfm), Luca Capitani (Steve Vai), Brazilian Gilson Silveira, Maxx Furian (883), French most loved André Ceccarelli (Dee Dee Bridgewater) and his brother J.P. Ceccarelli (Sting), Christian Meyer (Yamaha Groove night, Elio e le storie tese), the superstar drum quintet "La Drummeria", and guest such as MTV awarded singer Elio and pianist Stefano Bollani.
